The Best Adults-Only Beach Clubs In Bali: Get Your Groove On Without Worrying About Upsetting The Children

So, you’re coming to Bali, and you want to party hard without worrying about children running around underfoot? Well, you might be surprised to learn that Bali is a little short on adults-only beach clubs.

While the island’s beach club scene hosts over 100 beach clubs, the vast majority of them are family-friendly venues. In fact, there are just six beach clubs on the shores of Bali that are adults-only.

The good news is that we’ve rounded all six up for you, though we must note that one of them is not in mainland Bali; it’s in Nusa Ceningan, which is a small island off the coast of the mainland. Enjoy!

The 6 Best Adults-Only Beach Clubs In Bali

FINNS Beach Club (and FINNS VIP Beach Club)

They say FINNS is “the world’s best beach club,” and while, admittedly, it was the club itself that started saying it, this has been backed up time and again by customer reviews and the press.

MSN’s recent list of the world’s best beach clubs had FINNS in the top slot, and the local review site Best Beach Clubs Bali placed FINNS firmly at the head of the pack of the island’s 100+ beach clubs, too.

We have to agree with them, FINNS is without a doubt the best beach club experience here, it’s the combination of comfortable day beds, stunning pools, majestic ocean and sunset views, tasty food, excellent drinks and world-class entertainment that means FINNS is always full of people in search of fun.

The DJs lay down some excellent tunes to keep the mood upbeat and uptempo all day long, and since May 1st, 2025, this beach club has focused entirely on parties for an adult crowd.

The under-16s are not allowed in, and that means no matter how wild you like to be, it’s safe to be wild at FINNS without risking upsetting anyone.

We should also note that this is one of the best value for money beach clubs with no entrance fee, and no charge to use a daybed (you just agree to a minimum spend on food and drinks).

One word of caution, though, it’s a good idea to book FINNS in advance because it’s often completely sold out.

Le Pirate Beach Club

If you’re in the mood for some offshore fun, then jump in a boat and head to Nusa Lembongan, one of the three Nusa Islands.

Once you reach Lembongan, you’ll need to engage some transport to get you to Nusa Ceningan (there’s a bridge, don’t worry), the smallest Nusa Island.

And then, it’s a fairly bumpy ride all the way to the door of Le Pirate Beach Club, which recently scrapped its “no kids at the pool” rule, in favour of an adults-only stipulation for the whole club.

Just don’t expect wild parties here; the remote location means that it’s a fairly small and sweet beach club.

It’s a great place for some cold beers while exploring these charming islands and to meet some new friends for conversation and fun.

Azul Beach Club

Azul Beach Club is a very nicely designed beach club in Legian. We think it’s always a pleasure to pop some shots of this place on your socials and watch your mates’ jealousy vibes mount up.

It’s in Legian, which isn’t everyone’s first idea of a party spot, but there’s no doubt that this beach club is very much into parties.

You can easily get a daybed by the pool most days, and the drinks are very good. However, this place is really more like a nightclub than a beach club.

And that means the real parties take place indoors on the second floor of that attractive bamboo structure you’ve been photographing.

They really let their hair down up there. Our only reservation when it comes to Azul Beach Club is the cost of the food; it’s expensive for what it is.

El Kabron Cliff Club

El Kabron Cliff Club is for partygoers who don’t value their long-term hearing and want to be bathed in a non-stop aural assault that makes conversation nearly impossible.

You’ve probably already come across adverts for El Kabron on your social media feeds and on Google, because they’re not exactly shy about coming forward here.

The entertainment at this club is very good, and there’s no doubt you can have a great day out here. But there are some issues with El Kabron, too.

The booking system is really confusing, with far too many samey seating options, which can leave you wondering just where you’ll be sitting in relation to the fun. We also felt that the pool needed a bit more care and attention when it came to water quality.

One thing we should note is that while the club itself is entirely child-free, the restaurant here is not; kids are allowed in to dine with their parents, though they can’t enter the rest of the facility.

Savaya

If money’s no object, then you might be tempted to try out Savaya. Savaya is in Uluwatu, which is one of the more expensive places to hang out in Bali, and it’s in the highest price bracket for that area.

However, there’s no doubt that their musical roster is often first-rate and that makes the high entrance fees more reasonable. We’re not so impressed with the very high minimum spends to sit down.

Our team loves the service at Savaya, and the staff go all out to make you feel special. It’s a shame they couldn’t say the same about the food, though, which is pretty bad.

There’s no getting around the fact that their pools and dancefloor are in a unique clifftop position that adds a certain vibe to the day, though.

Tropical Temptation

Tropical Temptation is in Ungasan, which is on the Southern edge of the Bukit Peninsula, and that has two drawbacks.

The first is that it’s hard to get to from the rest of Bali because of traffic problems, and the second is that it’s one of the most expensive places to hang out in Bali, so be prepared to pay for a day out here.

The good news is that there’s no entrance fee, but the minimum spend is very high, and so are the food and drink prices. For some reason, the minimum spend doesn’t get you a towel, which you have to rent on top of that charge.

The music is good, and their DJs sure know how to keep the crowd’s spirits up during the day. We also like their pool with the bubble area; it’s got a unique feel to it.

But we are sad to note you can’t watch the sunset at this beach club, it’s on the wrong coast for that to work.

FAQs

Why Are There So Few Adults-Only Beach Clubs In Bali?

There are plenty of good reasons that the island doesn’t really support more adults-only beach clubs, including:

  • While Bali is a party destination, it’s much more of a family holiday destination, and most beach clubs try to cater to the mass market
  • Location coverage is important; the southern beach towns, where most parties take place, have all the adults-only beach clubs. Opening one in West Bali National Park, for example, would likely be a commercial disaster
  • Brands lagging behind the market, there are several beach clubs in the southern beach towns, which should probably be adults-only already. However, the owners tend to lag behind the curve on concepts like market segmentation, and thus, they’re still trying to appeal to all ages, even when the reality says that kids are not their customers.

Why Isn’t Luna Beach Club On This List?

image source: Luna Beach Club google business

Luna Beach Club has a nightclub called The Cave. The Cave is an adults-only venue for most of the day, except for the first couple of hours when children are allowed to use the water slide from the pool into the club.

Otherwise, Luna Beach Club remains open to families and their kids throughout the venue.

Does FINNS Beach Club Allow Children Inside?

No. FINNS Beach Club is an adults-only beach club. That means no children under the age of 16 are permitted to enter the venue.

This has been true since May 1st, 2025. Before that, FINNS was more flexible on its door policy, but there is no chance of being allowed to take kids into FINNS now.

Can Kids Go To Potato Head Beach Club, Bali?

Yes, Potato Head is a family-friendly beach club, and children are welcome to spend time in the venue. The venue is quite chilled out and not really a party place, so children should enjoy using the pool here.

There’s also an attached hotel, which is also family-friendly, and kids can access the creative village facilities from there.

Best Beach Club In Bali For Older Adults?

FINNS is the best beach club in Bali for older adults. While the main beach club does tend to attract a young crowd, FINNS VIP Beach Club is perfect for older adults seeking to party in a more refined space.

Final Thoughts On Bali’s Best Adults-Only Beach Clubs

If you can only go to one adults-only beach club in Bali, make it FINNS. FINNS is, without a doubt, the best beach club on the island in 2026, and we can’t see that changing any time soon.

They know everything there is to know about parties and good times at FINNS, and it’s easy to see why 1 in 4 international visitors to the island heads to FINNS at some point during their time here.

If you need more inspiration after your time at FINNS, why not visit the other beach clubs on the list above?
