Revolver, Canggu
The coffee culture in Bali is huge! First of all, Bali and Indonesia, in general, grow and roast coffee, and second, the sheer number of expats and foreigners needing a cup of latte in the morning boosted the market.
One of the go-to spots to have your morning coffee in Canggu is Revolver on the shortcut. You enjoy coffee and people watching. We get cheese toasties or chia pudding, and flat white.
They have locations in Seminyak and at the international airport, and they sell beans, too, so you can take them home.

Milk and Madu have a few locations; the one in Berawa is very family-friendly with a playground, but the sister location on Batu Bolong Beach Street is our personal favourite. Big, airy space, and great choice of brunch classics.
Beyond breakfast and brunch, the kitchen also makes amazing wood-fired pizzas, and the bar has delicious and creative cocktails.
We usually come to live music nights to relax with some burrata pizza and a dessert.

Note that their opening hours are till 4 PM only.

It is a great place for a casual bite or a meetup with friends.
The menu has so many delicious and vibrant dishes, but the must-try, in our opinion, is the acai berry bowl, the lamb salad, and the bacon Benedict.

Alchemy Bali, Uluwatu/Canggu/Ubud
We absolutely love the Ulwatu location, especially when they have live music in the morning, unlike pretty much all other places that only do live music in the evening.
Also love the format: you can order a la carte, or you can browse the salad bar and dessert buffet and point at the things you like. All food is plant-based, and most of it is also completely gluten-free.
There is also a fantastic store with organic beauty products and some cooking ingredients, and a sun-drenched space outdoors to chill.
That being said, their Canggu or Ubud locations are also amazing: great coffee, good food, sustainable architecture, and cool vibes.
