How Much Does It Cost To Rent A Party Venue In Bali?
This is one of those questions without a sensible answer. It depends on the venue you choose, the time of year, the number of guests you intend to bring with you, the details of the menu, the cocktails you want, whether you pay for everything or whether your friends and invitees are expected to pay for drinks, etc.
So, the best thing to do is decide on a great venue or two and then approch them for quotes regarding how much it will be.
Some places, like the Four Seasons are going to be expensive, some like FINNS will be surprisingly reasonable and some will even come in “cheap”.
But you could spend as little as 2-300,000 IDR per person on the low end and easily as much as you wanted to on the high end.
Which Area Of Bali Is Best For Nightlife?
We think that Canggu is the current Queen of the nightlife scene in Bali. It has the best mix of bars, pubs and clubs for a diverse crowd with diverse budgets. There’s simply something for everyone there.
It’s also within a short drive of Seminyak and slightly longer drives of Kuta and Ubud, which means you have all the other major nightlife scenes in Bali on the doorstep if you’re in Canggu.
Most of all, Canggu is home of FINNS Beach Club, which is the best party spot here.
Which Island Near Bali Has The Best Parties And Nightlife?
We must point out that Bali itself is an island and it is, without any exceptions, the best place for parties and nightlife in Indonesia. The local culture is much less strict about alcohol and good times thanks to the Hindu faith being dominant.
However, if you want to leave Bali and take a boat to somewhere smaller, we’d recommend going to Gili Trawangan (Gili T). It’s not in Bali Province, it’s in Lombok but it’s not too far away by boat from the mainland.
Gili T is famous for its backpacker lifestyle and while it’s not super cheap (everything on the island must be shipped in from the mainland after all), it’s definitely a little grungier and the parties on the beaches are legendary among the travelling community.
We should point out that Gili T is having something of an environmental crisis though, and you might not want to contribute to that with a week of partying.
Can I Party For A Week In Bali With $1,000 AUD?
Yes, you can party for a week in Bali with $1,000 AUD, assuming that’s your spending money for partying and it’s just for you, and you can have a very good time of things.
While alcohol isn’t as cheap as it might be, thanks to the government treating it as a luxury item and taxing it, it’s still way cheaper than it is in Australia.
$1,000 AUD is approximately 10 million IDR and that means you’d have 1.5 million IDR (which is around $100 USD) a day to have fun with.
It’s not a champagne budget, but it’s a cocktails and beers in nice settings budget for sure. You can even have a great day at FINNS (see below) for 1.5 million IDR.

Bali’s best party venue, in our opinion, is FINNS Beach Club. In an age where crowd sizes are dwindling a little due to so many entertainment options on the island, FINNS is the only place that consistently pulls in big crowds.
It’s the world’s best beach club, for sure, but it’s also an adults-only party-focused venue. That means excellent DJs and vocalists all day and night long, as well as entertainment that cannot be matched by other venues in Bali.
Once you’ve watched their bottle girls arrive at someone’s daybed accompanied by a Harley and other showpieces, you won’t want to miss a single moment of the day in FINNS.
FINNS is also in Canggu, which is the heart of Bali’s party scene and it means that there are plenty of bars, pubs, clubs, etc. nearby that you can enjoy on your holiday too.
One thing we have to stress when it comes to FINNS is that if you want a seat by the pool, make sure to book a daybed in advance on thier website (it’s the cheapest way to secure your seat) as FINNS can be booked out days or even weeks ahead of time.
