Eat Street is located along Jalan Kayu Aya, between Seminyak and Petitenget area, stretching from the big turn on the Sunset Road (by Trans Resort) all the way to Petitenget Beach (it ends by Petitenget Temple).
It is just a 22-kilometre stretch and you can walk all the way to the beach in about 20-25 minutes max.
We have to say that you will see people calling this area Jalan Laksmana or Jalan Oberloi, too, but the most accurate street name is Jalan Kayu Aya.

Eat Street is located in a tourist area that’s very easy to reach via scooter, taxi like Gojek and Grab, or walk if you stay nearby.
The best way to get here is by walking or taking a bike (rental or taxi) as traffic gets pretty heavy.
Be careful with local taxis, they tend to be a bit pushy around Seminyak’s Eat Street and Seminyak Square, just politely decline.

Tips For Visiting Eat Street In Seminyak For First Timers

- A good starting point is Seminyak square or the corner of Jalan Laksmana and Jl Kayu Aya (by Corner House Bali). And then head towards the beach. This way you can stroll, see shops with clothes or souvenirs, restaurants, stop at some, and make it to the beach.
- Money. The absolute majority of the restaurants in tourist areas accept cards. However, sometimes they add 3% extra charge, so have cash ready just in case.
- It is busy and crowded so be mentally prepared for it.
- If you want to see more street food carts, come around 5-6 PM, that’s when they will pop up around the beach and the Seminyak Square. The best part? You get to see the sunset, too.
- There is very little shade along the street. Use sunscreen and wear a hat, and you can also hide from the heat at Seminyak Village mall.
- Eating at Eat Street Seminyak’ restaurants you are very unlikely to get Bali Belly (travellers diarrhea) but it never hurts to make sure the food is made fresh and drink bottled water.
- If you have any allergies, please prepare them written in Indonesian, too. It happens that a dish may still contain allergens after you alerted the staff in English.
